Abduction Survivor Recounts Ordeal as Reverend Ezekiel Speaks to Media Church News

By Media Church News Desk

Speaking exclusively to Media Church News, Reverend Ezekiel Dachomo has disclosed harrowing details surrounding the abduction of women from his community, including the captivity and eventual release of a reverend’s wife. According to Reverend Ezekiel, two girls were abducted during the incident. He said one of the girls managed to escape, while the other was reportedly raped by her captors. “Two girls were abducted; one of them escaped,” he said. “But the one that did not escape, they raped her.”

Reverend Ezekiel expressed gratitude that the reverend’s wife, who was also abducted and later released, was not physically assaulted. He described how one of the attackers attempted to sexually assault her but was interrupted when she repeatedly called on the name of Jesus. “The man removed his trousers and followed her from behind,” he said. “When she mentioned Jesus, they warned her not to mention that name.” According to the Reverend, the attacker allegedly told her to stop calling on Jesus or he would rape her and allow others to do the same.

He claimed the assailants expressed hostility toward the Christian faith and targeted followers of Jesus. In her own testimony, the Reverend’s wife recounted moments of terror during her captivity. She said one of the men held a knife over her head and ordered her to undress. “I begged him not to kill me,” she said, explaining that she pleaded for her life and spoke of her child. She reported enduring verbal abuse before the man left and later returned, telling her he had only been “testing” her.

Despite the threats and intimidation, she emphasized that she was not physically violated. “Nobody touched my body,” she said. Reverend Ezekiel used the interview to raise concerns over the absence of security in the affected areas and called for urgent attention to the safety of vulnerable communities. Media Church News continues to monitor developments and document testimonies related to attacks and abductions affecting Christian communities in the region.
